Another great check-up!

Great news again at the doctor's office today. It's becoming a trend. :) Baby measured right on schedule for size and heartbeat was a steady 169. We got to see him/her moving around quite a bit today which was really exciting. The pictures are pretty blurry because baby wouldn't be still, but if you know what to look for you can see the arms and legs really well now.

It's too early to tell the sex but the Doctor gave us a very early guess of boy. He said that he would write it down with 3 questions marks before and after. So it's a ??? boy ??? Based on the research I've done on my own, it seems way too early. Here's an article that shows just how similar boys and girls look at this stage. Our next appointment is Friday, June 18th. That is the 12 week appointment with the maternal/fetal specialist. They will be doing an NT Scan to check for Down's Syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities. After that, we probably won't have another appointment until July 8th, when we will (hopefully) find out the sex!!
