Recent Pictures and Video

Just hanging out with his hand in his pocket

I tried making Christmas cookies and decorating them with Charlie. He loved it. He helped roll out the dough and use the cookie cutters. In fact he threw a mini-tantrum when it was time to bake them. Then came the decorating. Why I thought he could do it without eating them, I don't know. He literally licked every single cookie he touched, and he even gave one to the dog. We won't be doing that again for a while. But Charlie had a great time.

Charlie recently started talking about going pee pee and poop on the potty. He is way too scared to sit on it without his diaper on. Actually if he has his diaper off for more than a minute, he starts getting scared and saying "Mommy, peepee!". He peed on the floor near his potty once, but that totally freaked him out. So for now, I keep telling him that it's okay to just go in his diaper and we'll use the potty when he's ready. But we went ahead and got several toddler potty seats for him to play with and get comfortable with. Here he is practicing on his potty.

Enjoying a snack and watching TV (one of the few times I can get a picture of him sitting still)

Over the Thanksgiving break, we met some friends at a local play place. Charlie gathered these two stools from an air hockey table, dragged them over to this arcade game, then climbed through them to get up to the seat.

While we were there, he and Ryder played on the horses. Can you tell from these pictures how much Charlie loves Ryder?

Playing in the backyard

Charlie loves to wear his sunglasses in the car.

Enjoying a GT basketball game with Daddy. He loves going to the games and he now recognized the Yellow Jacket mascot (he calls it a bee) and the GT logo, which he calls "Tech! Tech!" I've completely lost him to the dark side.

Watching football and eating a snack with Poppy.

Charlie learned the chicken dance at gymnastics

And finally, my favorites. Charlie spent the night at Nana and Poppy's last weekend. While he was there, Maddie recorded these videos for us. They are SO sweet. Charlie is so lucky to have such sweet and loving cousins!
