Crazy Man

These days Charlie is FULL of energy and virtually running. He loves climbing and will climb anything he can. I am amazed by how much he falls down and gets right back up without a fuss. He constantly has bumps and bruises on his face or legs from all the climbing and stumbling. He's crazy, but he's so much fun! We've been really busy lately, visiting friends, having friends over to play, and going to fun places. Here are some pictures of our recent adventures. (It's getting much harder to take pictures since he never stops moving.)

We met our friends Layla and Allison Choate at the Aquarium and this time we watched the dolphin show. Charlie was very entertained by the dolphins, but some parts of the show were a little scary for him. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by how well he did.

A rare moment sitting still

Waiting for the dolphin show to start with Layla.

We also met our friends Ryder and Stephanie VanHook at Hippo-Hopp. The boys are starting to recognize each other when we get together. They are so cute running around.

Sliding with Mom

We had lunch one day with Aunt Alex, where we taught Charlie the art of dipping his fries in honey mustard. He LOVED it but he had some kind of allergic reaction all over his mouth. It must have been the honey mustard.

Last week Charlie and I spent the afternoon at Grandpa Chuck's house while Kyle was out of town. Charlie had a great time running around and playing in his blue car, and he gobbled up Grandpa's spaghetti!

All those fun trips make for a very sleepy boy in the evenings. He is getting cuter and cuter on the video monitor. Here he is snuggling with his stuffed animal and passed out on his back. Sleep tight, little man.
