Lexington Children's Museum

Our first morning in Lexington, we got up early and took Kyle to work. Then Charlie and I ran a few errands and went back to the hotel for a nap. The nap never happened but we did get some rest and then we met Kyle for lunch. After lunch Charlie and I spent the afternoon at the Lexington Children's Museum. He was a little young for most of the exhibits but they did have a large area just for little ones and it was perfect for Charlie.

Here are some pictures from the Museum.

Checking out the train table.

Pulling the tracks down to his level.

I need one of these padded circles at home.

Checking out all the toys

Cleaning out the chair.

Practicing cruising

Fun at the water table

Splish, Splash

Look how small he is compared to the dinosaur head

Look at this egg, Mom!

He's not actually playing a the game, but it looks like he is!

Pulling all the dinosaurs off the table.

After the museum, we picked Kyle up from work and went out to dinner.

Charlie was quite a ham and was "talking" to all the people around us. At one point some people got up to leave and they said bye to Charlie. He looked at them and said "BYE BYE" and waved. Kyle and I were stunned. He hasn't said it since so it could have been a fluke.  We had a great time at dinner and it was a fun end to a great day!
