On Sunday night, 6 inches of snow fell here in Atlanta! After the snow, we had freezing rain, which created a layer of ice on all the roads and on top of the snow. Since Atlanta is not prepared to deal with that kind of weather, it's been a major problem for the metro area. Most school districts (including ours) have been closed all week. We didn't even have mail service for several days. Kyle worked from home through Wednesday, but he ventured out to the office today and saw several accidents along the way. The roads are still bad. Luckily for Charlie and I, we don't have many places to go anyway. At this time, the temperatures are expected to rise enough this weekend to melt the ice.
