The closest real town near Hunting Island is Beaufort, South Carolina. It's like a miniature version of Charleston. There is a nice area along the water with several restaurants and green space. Unfortunately there weren't enough evenings to try all the restaurants, but we will be back next year. Here are some pictures from one of our evenings in Beaufort.

We had to wake this one up when it was time to go home. Nobody wanted to leave. We are already looking forward to our trip next year!
