4th of July at Lake Sinclair

Our friends, the Kiewerts, invited us to a lake house at Lake Sinclair for the 4th of July this year. The whole family loved the weekend of bathing suits, boat rides, sweet treats, and of course, fire works.

The first evening, we took everyone for a ride around the lake. The kids were very ready to get on the boat.

Jackie was in heaven. She smiled or slept all weekend.

Holly loved the boat also and had no fear.

Charlie was a little nervous on the boat at first. He even wore his goggles in case he fell in the water. But he loosened up after a while and then he really enjoyed it.

Love that UGA hat, Holly!

The kids got along so well all weekend. They sure are adorable playing together.

Fun at Goat Island

Jumping off the dock was one of our favorite things to do.

Mommy had to get in on the action too.

I call this one, "the starfish."

When we weren't swimming in the lake, we goofed off at the house,

ate a lot of sweets,

and of course, watched fireworks.

It was a great weekend with friends. We were all happy and exhausted on the way home.
