In addition to our Holbrook Family Vacation, and Fourth of July at Lake Sinclair, July was a busy month of summer fun. Here are more pictures and videos from July 2016.
One major milestone both kids achieved this month is conquering the neighborhood pool slide. Holly has been wanting to try it for a long time. Charlie has not. We finally talked Charlie into trying it, and the lifeguards didn't seem to care if Holly went too. She has trouble swimming to the side of the pool against the strong current from the slide, so it's best if someone waits for her at the bottom, but she LOVES it.

When we weren't at the pool, we made some stops at the garden.
Charlie's favorite thing to do at the garden is dig a hole and then fill it with water, creating a muddy pit.
Holly got in on the muddy fun too.
I tried to teach them to climb trees.
They couldn't get me!
When Mom needs a nice quiet break...
Holly got a new leotard for dance/tumbling (more on that later), which she begged to wear on our walk.
