Charlie's birthday party was originally scheduled for mid-January. Unfortunately he had a broken collarbone and wouldn't have been able to climb around at the party place. So, I called Everland in early January and asked to reschedule. I knew Charlie's collarbone would take 6 to 8 weeks to heal, so we pushed the party out to March 2nd. It wasn't until several weeks later that I realized that was the same weekend as Holly's birthday. So, we had Holly's real birthday on Friday, her party on Saturday, and Charlie's birthday party on Sunday. It was a busy weekend, but lots of fun!
Before his party, Charlie walked into a fence leaving T-ball practice so he showed up to his party with a big scratch on his cheek and dried blood in his nose. But he didn't care.
His party was a construction theme.
We got adorable cake pops in the shape of orange cones and yellow construction hats.
Katherine and Andrew helped to admire the cookie cake.
Usually at these play places, it takes Charlie 30-45 minutes to leave my side and go play on his own or with his friends. But after we checked out his party room, he ran off to play with his friends.

Then it was time for cake! Charlie was so cute as we sang happy birthday to him.
While Charlie enjoyed his cake, Holly played with Lawson.
And she loved the attention from Emily.

before everyone hit the dance floor for the Fresh Beat Band's "Rockstar".
Charlie was so excited when the song came on,
but it took some coaxing to get him out on the dance floor.
We did our best to get a group photo.
And then it was time to go home and open up presents! We are so thankful to have great friends who came out to celebrate Charlie's 3rd birthday.
