This weekend we took Charlie up to the mountains with my family. We were there with my Mom, my Step-Dad Jim, my sisters, and their husband/boyfriend.
On Thursday night, Kyle, Charlie, Mom, and I hung out and got settled. Kyle and Charlie hung out on the porch...
while Mom and I unpacked.
Then it was time for dinner al fresco.
Our house was right on the lake and the weather was gorgeous! On Friday we played in the lake with Charlie and hung out on the dock. Poor Kyle got a TERRIBLE sunburn.
On Saturday several of us went rafting down the Ocoee River. I had never been rafting before and it was a blast! Charlie stayed behind with my Mom, Aunt Lynn, and Uncle Dion. They took this picture for me while we were gone. Looks like they had a little too much fun.
After rafting it was time for some college football. Kyle and Alex had to watch the GT game on the computer while the rest of us watched UGA/SC and Michigan/ND on the big screen...though both games were very disappointing.
The best part of the weekend was watching Charlie spend time with his family. He was so happy all weekend and loved playing with everyone. And Mommy loved the help! :)
