Boston, MA & Oswego, NY

Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Kyle and I were scheduled to get home on Sunday evening around 8 p.m. and instead got home late Monday night around 1:00 a.m. Only 29 hours later than expected! I felt pretty good on the trip, just a few headaches and bouts of nausea but nothing too bad.

We had a great time visiting with the Crosby family in Boston. The only bad thing is that we miss them even more now. We did our best lobbying to get them back down south and we haven't given up hope that it will happen. Here's a picture of us with the cutest little man in Boston. Jack is 11 months old now and truly adorable!

On Thursday we took a bus tour of the city and stopped to see more of the U.S.S. Constitution (Old Ironsides). Can you see all the jellyfish in the water around it?

We also stopped Trinity Church, an Episcopal Church in downtown Boston. It was beautiful inside but we didn't feel comfortable taking pictures.

On Friday morning, I went to Fenway and Kyle went to the Sam Adams Brewery. Kyle had already been to Fenway and I had no interest in Sam Adams.

On Saturday morning it was time to head to Oswego, NY for the wedding of our friends, Lee & Mary-Kay. The drive up was only about 5-6 hours and other than Kyle getting a speeding ticket on the way, it wasn't too bad. Oswego is a neat little town of 17,000. It's about 30 minutes north of Syracuse, right on Lake Ontario. It's really old and the wedding was actually at an old Fort that was one of the last ones the British surrendered to the U.S. in the late 1700s. Mary-Kay grew up in Oswego and her Dad is actually the mayor now. Here we are just before the ceremony started.

After the ceremony, I took a video showing the a 360 degree view of the ceremony location. It's definitely the most unique wedding venue I've ever seen. It was a beautiful ceremony and great reception. We had a great time!
