Halloween was full of fun this year. First up was Halloween parties at school. The kids dressed up in their matching shark costumes. (Charlie wanted to be a shark and Holly did too as soon as she saw his costume, so we had two sharks.)
Holly got to pick out a pumpkin at school.
And of course she enjoyed the desserts the most.
Charlie and his class. (Charlie is bit of a scrooge about Halloween costumes. He didn't want to wear his.)
At his class party...

On Halloween evening, the kids put their costumes on again and we prepared to go out. Last year, Charlie only went to a couple of houses and wasn't really into it. We weren't sure how it would go this year.
But once we got out there, he got really into the spirit of Halloween. Both kids went right up to the houses, said trick or treat, and said thank you. Charlie went up and down our whole street before we finally had to tell him we were finished. Holly wanted to keep up with him, but since she can't walk quite as fast, I got the golf cart and we went for a ride instead.

They both stayed up last and were worn out at church the next morning!
