Christmas Tree

A few weeks ago we decorated our Christmas tree. Because of the dogs (and the mess), we bought an artificial tree last year. It was in the attic along with all our ornaments and decorations. Charlie and I watched as Kyle brought everything down. That alone was very exciting for Charlie. He had never seen us open up the attic before and he kept saying, "Daddy high!"

Once we got everything out, we got to work putting ornaments on the tree. Charlie had a great time with all the "balls". And he loved the ornaments that looked like the dogs.

 

Once we had all the ornaments on, it was time to put the star on top. Every day he says "Star high, Daddy" remembering when he and Daddy put the star on top of the tree.

And of course our night wouldn't be complete without a mini tantrum. Charlie didn't want to take a picture with Mommy. So we took one anyway while he threw himself around angrily.
