Charlie's Birthday

Charlie woke up bright and early on his birthday. We gave him some chocolate milk (instead of his regular milk) and put him in bed with us for our usual morning snuggles and cartoons.

 

Then we got up, got dressed, and headed to IHOP for breakfast with Lili and Aunt Alex before church. Charlie ate his weight in pancakes and then we headed to church. In the nursery, we celebrated Charlie's birthday with cupcakes and all the kids sang happy birthday to him. It was pretty adorable! Although next time I'll probably bring cookies instead of cupcakes. They were really messy and the kids got icing all over their nice church clothes. Oops.

After church we went home to open presents and take a nap. Charlie got a new golf toy, a play kitchen, and more Cars toys. He was so cute playing with his new toys. After his nap, we packed up and headed down to Fairburn to celebrate Christmas with Memaw Rex and Kyle's Mom's family. More on that soon...
