Game Ranch with Grandpa

After our trip to Lexington, we spent a few days relaxing at home and then it was time for another adventure. On Thursday we made a trip to the Yellow River Game Ranch petting zoo with Grandpa Chuck. It was fairly empty so most of the animals were excited to see us and very hungry. And while we were there we saw Larry the Cable Guy filming a segment for his show, Only in America!

Typical of Charlie lately, he was shy with many of the animals. He would look at them,

but then he often turned his head away or buried it in my shoulder.

This baby goat wasn't too scary for him.

These sheep were REALLY hungry.

He also enjoyed the view up high from Grandpa Chuck's arms.

And admired his beard.

Grandpa tried to get him to feed the birds, but he refused to give up his cracker.

Then it was time for my favorite, the bunny patch. You can't tell from this picture but there were bunnies everywhere.

Charlie liked the bunny patch but he really liked Mommy's tickles.

Then it was time to play with Grandpa.

It was a fun adventure for all three of us!
