We were nervous to see how Charlie would handle Thanksgiving because the night before he was having a lot of trouble with teething. But we were so happy to see that by Thursday morning, Charlie was his usual happy self. So we packed up and headed up to Nana and Poppy's for Thanksgiving Lunch, then it would be on to Lili's and Grandpa Jim's for Thanksgiving Dinner.

After a great Thanksgiving meal (Charlie loved the dressing!), we put Charlie down for a nap and relaxed for a little while. Kyle tried to take a nap too but he was interrupted when Maddie tried to surprise him with Cool Whip, but instead he surprised her and she ended up with Cool Whip all over her face!
Once Charlie woke up, we got in the car and made our way over to Lili and Grandpa Jim's house for our second Thanksgiving meal and more fun with family. It was a great day for all of us. We have SO much to be thankful for this year and we loved our first Thanksgiving as a family of three!
