Charlie's 4-Year-Old Check-Up

Charlie was such a big boy at this year's check up. They did several "big boy" tests like a hearing test, vision test, drawing blood, and having him pee in a cup. It made me sad that my baby was so grown up. But he did a great job with each one and was so brave. When they pricked his finger, he didn't flinch. Right afterward we went into the bathroom for him to pee in a cup and as soon as I shut the door, he started crying that his finger hurt. He was so sweet. The most shocking part for me is that he measured 40 1/2 inches tall, in the 50th percentile! Last year he was 36 inches, in the 14th percentile. His weight was 31.7 pounds. He barely gained any weight, but they aren't too concerned since he grew 3 1/2 inches.
