Holly at 11-12 months

Here is an update on Holly Wolly Doodle.
  • So sweet. Her smile will melt your heart.
  • She loves her paci. I end up giving it to her a lot because it does sooth her.
  • Hair is growing in a lot in the back but not as much in the front. She has cute little ringlets. Kyle and I say she has a "recess in the back, story time in the front" hairdo.
  • Her four top front teeth are coming in. The outer two are coming in faster than the inside two front teeth, but you can tell that they are all making their way out. She has been fussy at times and she randomly has days where she doesn't nap well. All I can figure out is that she either had a tummy ache or those teeth are bothering her.
  • Very independent still. She loves crawling around the house exploring and getting into trouble. She is so fast! She loves Jackie and will always crawl to the back door and bang on it when Jackie is in the back yard.
  • She is so happy when she wakes up in the morning. I love walking in her room and seeing her big grin. That is one thing that is so different from Charlie. He has always been grumpy when  he wakes up.
  • She loves to have her picture taken (probably because she is getting attention).
  • She loves climbing. We have a step-stool/ladder in the kitchen for Charlie to reach the sink and she can climb right up it and stand at the sink. Now we have to keep it folded up. She also loves climbing in and around chairs and she can even climb up the slide at Nana and Poppy's house.
  • She is generally a laid-back, very easy baby...except when she wants some kind of food. Then she gets mad and babbles/yells/reaches for whatever it is she wants.
  • She is not walking yet, but she pulls herself up and cruises well.
  • While Charlie was very coordinated and was throwing a ball at 9 months, Holly is not. Even now when Charlie hands her a basketball, she can barely get her hands around it and kind of fumbles with it as it falls out of her hands.
  • Even though Charlie can be super rough and mean to her, she sure does love him. Sometimes he is just so sweet to her.
  • She is still a chunk. She is in 18 month shirts (mostly because the sleeves are too tight on 12 month clothes) and 12 month pants.
Here are some pictures of our sweet baby girl who is growing up WAY too fast!
The front camera on the phone is great for Holly. As soon as she sees herself, she smiles.

The three of us at Everland.

They were actually very excited to ride together in the front of the cart. I don't know why they wouldn't smile for this picture.

So cute from the back.

Happy face

Serious face

So stinkin cute!

Yay! Chips! My favorite!

She was actually not sleeping well. This was us in the middle of the night. Put a camera on her and she smiles. She had been miserable just moments before.

She loves attention from her brother. Even when he has her pinned down under his knee.

Exploring the slide

More climbing on a chair. Charlie was jealous and wanted to sit on it also.

She looks so big!

Let me out of here!
