Charlie made his first appearance at church last Sunday. It was so special for us because our St. Matthew's family has been so supportive of us the past 2 years. They know about our miscarriages and our struggle to have a healthy baby. We love them all and couldn't wait to introduce Charlie to his St. Matthew's family. What made it extra special was a small ceremony they did for us and for Charlie during the service. It's called the Thanksgiving for the Birth or Adoption of a Child. Kyle and I went to the front of the church with Charlie and Father Doug led a prayer for us and our baby boy.
