I went for the first NST this morning to monitor Charlie's heart rate. He was very active and had a strong heartbeat so he passed with flying colors! In addition to monitoring Charlie's heartbeat, they also monitored my uterus for contractions. The nurse told me I had 4 good contractions during the 30 minute test, which was a big surprise to me because I didn't feel anything. She said it's probably still very early but she wouldn't be surprised if Charlie came soon based on the contractions she saw. I was stunned!
I still haven't heard back about scheduling the c-section. We probably won't be able to confirm a date until my next appointment at the Doctor's office on Thursday.
