Thankful Monday

Here's what I'm thankful for today:

1. The love and kindness of my friends and family, who made this weekend bareable for me. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
2. Little Carter Holden is doing well after scaring his parents with a low body temperature. It seems he was just a little too small to regulate his temp on his own. Needless to say it was a long week for the Holden family and I hope they can go home and get back to normal soon!
3. We got some awesome couches off Craigslist and we enjoyed them all weekend. They are SOOOOO comfortable. The couch on the left with the table in the middle is actually two recliners. And as you can see in the second picture below, Kyle & Jackie already tested out the longer couch as a good napping spot.


4. We're making progress on the backyard. We had 11 trees cut down along with all the undergrowth. Now we've got a lot of work ahead to clean up the ground and prepare it for grass. We'll plant grass this fall and put down pinestraw, ivy, and possibly bushes to really make the backyard beautiful!
