Charlie is #3
Charlie's first season of basketball got off to a rocky start. At his first practice, he got hit on the head with the ball and at the second practice he collided with a teammate and got a fat lip. He also had a bit of a hit to his confidence when he couldn't get the ball into the basket. The hoop is at 8 1/2 feet and Charlie is used to making goal after goal in his 6 foot hoop at home.
After several tough practices, things started getting better. Charlie is excellent at dribbling and he understands the game well. He can get the ball in the hoop during practice and has come close in a game. We somehow ended up on a team made up of tall kids who can really play. We won the first game 29-2. We have played 3 games so far and won them all.
