As Charlie's baseball season drew to a close, his team made it all the way to the Championship Game of the tournament. That meant one more practice for Holly to get through.
The day of the game, Charlie was baseball-ready.
Unfortunately, the game didn't go our way. Charlie had a hit and scored a run, but the other team was amazing in the field and we weren't able to stop them. The kids weren't too upset. They still got awesome trophies.
And made awesome silly faces.
Charlie told me he wants to play baseball more than soccer now because "Dad is a coach." They had a lot of fun together this season.
At the end-of-the-year party later that week, the kids asked for a group hug with coach Chris.
It was a great season!!
