Snow Tubing

The water park near our house, Lake Lanier Islands, set up a tubing site this winter. They had tubes that went down AstroTurf, real snow (that was more like ice), and sleds to go down the water slides (without the water). We took the kids on the last day they were open and we had a blast! Luckily, no one was paying any attention to the height requirements so both kids got to do all the slides! They were so tiny going down those giant slides, but they LOVED it!

Holly and I getting ready to go down the sled. We had to wait in line a while, but when we were done, she said she wanted to go again. I said, "Are you sure it's worth it to wait in line?" She said, "Yeah, Mom! It's worth it! It's fun!"

Charlie and Daddy in their own sleds.

The big hill. Both kids went down.

Holly loved the little hill.

Racing down with a push from Mom

Charlie was able to get his own tube back up and go again on his own. If Holly could have done the same, we would have been there all day! She loved it too, but we got tired of having to help her back up the hill with her tube.

So much fun!
