- She is very talkative and (even though her paci is in her mouth all the time), she can and does try to say anything you ask her to say. When we get home, she will often say "Yay!" as we pull into the driveway. When she wants to be held, she says "Up, please."
- She has become even more attached to her paci in the past few months. I tried a few times to take it away but after a few hours, I gave in. She is calm and happy and plays by herself when she has it. Without it she is fussy and grumpy and follows me everywhere.
- She is very outgoing. She loves to wave hello to strangers when we're out shopping and she is not at all shy. She's actually kind of bossy around other kids and will yell "NO!" whenever they get anywhere near a toy that she wants. When we go to playgrounds, she goes off and plays. She is MUCH more independent than Charlie and sometimes she is the one who gets Charlie to go play because he will follow her instead of sitting next to me like he used to do.
- She loves music and she will dance whenever she hears music on TV.
- She is tough. If she cries after falling down, it must have really hurt. Usually she just gets back up like nothing happened. I've seen her wipe out on the playground before and get up with a mouthful of mulch and keep going.
- She is much more into the iPhone and iPad than Charlie. While Charlie likes to play on my phone, it isn't a problem. Holly is always looking for my phone or my ipad. I have to take them away from her all the time.
- She loves food. That hasn't changed. She gets angry hungry and loves to eat.
- She loves her brother. On Wednesdays when Charlie goes to school and Holly doesn't, she cries when he gets out of the car. She calls him "brubber" or "bubba" and she loves to play with him.
- At her 18 month check-up, she weighed 25 pounds (59th percentile) and was 31.75" tall (49th percentile). Her head circumference was in the 61st percentile.
- As much as Charlie loved sports when he was little, Holly has no interest. Several times when I tried to get her to throw me a ball, she walked over to me and handed it to me. Instead, she has been a very stereotypical girl. She loves to push her baby around in a stroller. She points out babies whenever she seems them. She even got into my purse and put my lip gloss all over her face. It is amazing to me how she is all girl and Charlie is all boy!
She is such an awesome addition to our family. We all love her so much and we are going to have so much fun watching her grow up!
