While we spent most of our time at the beach, we did take a short break for the pool. As is usually the case these days, Charlie was fairly easy. Holly was fearless and it took most of our energy to keep her from jumping into the deep end.
We tried the baby float.
That lasted about 5 minutes before she was over it.
Daddy kept her happy for a few minutes.
Charlie found a friend and played cars on the steps for a while.
And we finally gave in and let Holly play on the stairs with her brother. She loves to get in and out and climb around on her hands.
It was a nice break from the beach, but it is exhausting following Holly around, so after a few hours, we packed it up for lunch and much-needed naps.
