- Sleeping -This may be the first time that his sleeping has remained consistent from one update to the next. He is still taking a good nap in the morning, cat naps in the middle of the day, and another good nap in the afternoon. He is usually waking once in the middle of the night and he eats A LOT at that feeding. Soon we may start giving him a bottle with formula/rice cereal just before bed instead of nursing. That may help him get through the night. Other than that, I am hoping we won't have to do any serious sleep training since he is working out a schedule on his own. (But I've still got the books handy just in case :) )
- Reflux - No change
- Rolling and Moving - Charlie still tries so hard to move when he's on his belly. He can't lift his upper body at all to crawl but he pushes as hard as he can with his legs and buries his head in the ground. He has figured out how to lean onto his side, then kick his legs against the ground and wiggle like a worm before falling back onto his belly. Each time he does this he moves forward about two inches. I'll do my best to catch it on video soon to share.
- Sitting Up - The Bumbo seat works a lot better now. Charlie has better head control and can sit in it without leaning forward or bobbing his head around. He also enjoys his exersaucer and jumperoo.
- Skin issues - Poor Charlie's neck is so chubby that he got a yeast infection under all that skin. It's cleared up now but we have to watch it and put baby powder on it to prevent another infection. He also had a little bit of ezcema behind his knees and on his arms, but it has also cleared up.
- Watching the puppies - Charlie LOVES to watch the puppies play in the mornings. He stands in his exersaucer while the pups chase each other around the living room. Charlie looks mesmerized.
- Overall Charlie is becoming more fun and pleasant every day. He's such a sweet boy and he has the cutest giggles, smiles, screams, and coos.
